    Is there just no backlight on the panel?

    You may need to get a modded .inf file for your drivers, though i have no experience in your scenario. Its just a thought.

    Maybe also boot into safe mode and see if that brings the screen display back.

    Take a flashlight to the screen and see if you can see anything, if so its just the backlight.

    As far as I knew the 680m and 7970m (specific versions) was the limit of the platform

    As far as I am aware the 680m and 7970m were the last to be comptible, dont know that to tell you otherwise.

    So if I currently have a Quadro 3000m, can I upgrade directly to an M6100? Is there a comparatively priced Nvidia card that would work/perform as well? Would I need a new x bracket for an AMD card?

    I originally bought a 675m, but that did not work.

    I basically have a giant paperweight at the moment, would like to upgrade to a useful GPU since they seem to have come down in price.

    Just need to play sc2, overwatch -- nothing crazy. 3000m is meh though. Not worried about losing optimus.

    Very interesting

    @Eurocom Support

    Was this plug and play or were there any requirements?
