Don't think 8XXm work at all, and overpriced for its performance.

    Thanks for all the help.

    One last set of questions.....

Why is the 860M not compatible when its MXM 3.0 B just like the 680 and the others?

You say its overpriced but I cant find a 680M under $400 compared to that 860M (I know the 680M is better but the price to performance seems better on the 860)

As for the 6100 I cant find it anywhere :*(

Where would be a good place to find some besides ebay?

    Thanks again!

I don't have personally experience with 7xx/8xx but people who tried say it just dun work.

I got my cards from ebay.

M6100 pop ins once in a while and go for 150-200.

680m should be pretty easy to find under 400. Just checking, there actually a few of them on ebay under 400.

We have a NBR member selling a k5000m under 400 also.

Has anyone had problems with the SD CARD?

No matter what drivers I use (even the chipset drivers from the dell website)

I can not get the SD card to work. This might be a Windows 8.1 issue, but I am selecting 8.1 from the OS list and the correct chipset driver for the card reader.

I always get an error that reads 02sdjw7x64.inf not found when trying to install or remove or even repair the driver installation.

I even changed the piece that has the card reader (for an audio jack issue) so I can confirm its not hardware related (I even hear the windows sound confirming some media was inserted every time I put a card in the reader)

You're a genius! That worked perfectly after a restart.

Do you use throttlestop? Would you care to share your settings if you do?

    Thanks for all the help!

I used to run thorttlestop 24/7 and let the core idle at max clock, but lately I stop running it except for diagnostic as I found it doesn't really matter performance wise.

The 7.0 beta just expired ~~ My setting is nothing special though xD
