    Hello,

@robotti80 : we got the same problem here ! we update the Bios to A04 and the turbo boost doesn't work anymore. So to solve it, you can try to downgrade your bios to A02.

Can you please tell me which version of the bios do you have ?

    I always had BIOS A03.

That would be an easy possibility to be performed.
I will try it today right after work, maybe it will change something.

What chipset revision do you have?
I have Intel QM67 Cougar Point revison B2.
B3 should be the better choice so far.

    I have also the QM67 Rev. 04.
But if you have the bios A03, it is not the same bug (I got the bios A04 bug), I was wrong sorry because the bug of the bios A04 is pretty easy to see : no more turbo boost, you are stuck at 2.2Ghz.

Well, we have a nearly identical system. Mine does jump to 30x, and once to 32x while I watched it for a few minutes (not sure about the 32, it was very brief). Temperature below 50 Celsius. All while browsing the net.

There are two: LG-Philips and an AUO. There are also some Chi-Mei's that has gone into the systems, but those should replaced with either the LG or the AUO.
