Can I see the schematics to the RGB cabling? If I get some extra money, I can try to experiment by buying another M6600 LCD Panel Cover and the possible RGB cabling and tinker with it.

By the way, the new M6600 I received from Dell USA this afternoon has a CMO panel installed as others have reported over the past few days. I must have been lucky the first time with the AUO.

At any rate, this is totally not acceptable and this system will be returned on principle alone... Shame on you, Dell!

I think they owe us ALL some nice IPS panels for this penny pitching at our expense.

N-Trig touch Screen + Wacom - Can these work together?

If I install my Intous 3|4 driver the N-Trig looses stylus pressure sensitivity.

I remove Intous Drivers and N-trig pressure sensitivity is returned.

Is there a way to turn the Wacom driver on and off or to get both the Wacom and N-Trig to work in harmony?

    Thanks,
    JohnBoy

Guys, general question: hod did yo get a good price for your M6600?

I just got 200USD off the regular price online. But the sales rep I was talking too told me that he would be able to give me a even higher discount if I could give him a quote from another manufacturer...

I was just about to order the M6600 with Multi-Touch, however after reading this thread i change my mind and asked DELL when/if IPS will be available.
    DELL Pre-Sales departments answer was:

“When the IPS panel goes live than there will be just one additional panel to be available. The Multitouch will have the same Ultrasharp LCD as it has right now. The IPS panel on the M6600 will come live on the 11.09.2011”

A Dell Service technician called me a few minutes ago.
He is going to replace the display today.
I am very afraid of he brings another Chi Mei CMO panel!
What to do in this case?
I clarified that I do not accept another Chi Mei display but am I right to do that?
Like Dr. House I only take on worst.

Keep us posted... I wait for that call as well. If it arrives today dell has the display in stock, if not they have to order it.

As a lawyer my guess would be, that we have no right to demand a non Chi Mei panel if that panel is listed (and it is as I read it here) as one of the stock fhd screens... But as I would not sue a company over 200 bucks, so I would not go after it anyway (my nerves and time is more valuable).

My only hope that they dont want to alienate the business notebook buying consumers. So they went cheap once, hopefully they use the second chance to correct it. Support and replacement already canceled out the profit on the weaker screen...

I got the replacement. It is lg. It is still blueish but a bit better. I'm gonna use a bit more before making an opinion about it.
