    Well, that 100% Adobe RGB thingy is exactly the reason why this panel is that expensive. Until now i don't really get it why lenovo shoots out w700 as "photographers" notebook if its display can't handle the full color space. A digitizer like the one you can configure for w700 can easily be purchased (e.g. Wacom Intuos 3 A6) afterwards and can be taken around with no problem. 'Upgrading' to another display on the other hand isn't that easy procedure :)

    at the moment i could only choose between:

    17in Widescreen WUXGA (1920X1200) with CCFL LCD Panel
    17in Widescreen WXGA+ (1440X900) with CCFL LCD Panel

    at the french site.

    were the 520€ the price premium for the upgrade from WXGA+ (1440X900) with CCFL LCD => RGB LED
    or from
    WUXGA (1920X1200) => RGB LED ?

    does anybody know anything about the date availability ?

    Does anyone if:

    1. There is a Displayport===>Dual-link DVI adapter available, so I can use the Dell 3007 monitor with this the M6400?

    2. If the E-Port Plus docking station outputs dual, dual-link DVI, so I could drive two 3007 monitors?

    3. What laptops currently available output dual-link DVI besides the Dell XPS M1730 (too flashy for my taste) and the Apple (not considering it)?

    Thanks much.
