DCSE is the Dell Certified Systems Expert DCSE Program is specifically designed for technicians that install and service Dell products including: Dell Service Provider Dell, Dell Installation Service Provider and Dell Tech Support Technicians. You have to be registered to have access to that site and to be able to be registered you have to be part of a company that has a Dell Service contract that they are Dell Certified Technicians for field service work.

Personally I'm a little bummed that it does not appear this will have 1440x900 LED which is an option in the Studio 17. I like 1440x900 on 17" (I know, I know, I'm in a minority here :D )

These are the only resolutions and backlighting options available. So sorry the 1440x900 does not have the option of LED backlighting. But with the difference in color and clarity why would you want to go with 1440x900 over the 1930x1200 RGB LED?

    Maximum resolutions:
    WXGA+ (CCFL) 1440 x 900 at 262 K colors
    WUXGA (CCFL) 1930 x 1200 at 262 K colors
    WUXGA (LED) 1930 x 1200 at 16.7 M colors

I told you I was in the minority! :D

I have tried to use a 1920x1200 screen and I just can't handle it in 17" - by the end of a day, my eyes are practically bleeding :(

I called Dell UK today - It took about 5 different people before I got an answer but they said the m6400 would be available to order in the UK from the 29th of September. Fingers crossed.
