-.- you cant just run away from the problems :)
damn...did they gave you a special offer for the upgrade?

feel free to write here in the m4700 section if the bigger one has the same problems or not.
i still wait till they make a decision which...takes them now a week.

edit: about the K100M and games..so far i tested just some old ones
batman arkham city, fallout new vegas ans teamfortress2, and it had no problem
    to run them.

Is this what the M4700 screen tint looks like?

yes this is it, looks pretty exactly same ;), but the 17" models don't have it as it seems, also the M6700 seems to be free of it, didn't hear any complaints until now

@appomo : No real special offer, but they were nice to me ;)

That is the HP 8570W in the pics. I think it uses the same 15.6" IPS panel from LG. I guess it is an LG issue and not a Dell issue if the same panel in an HP shows the same bit of corner tint.

Yea, if you don't need 100%aRGB on the M4700, I'd get the regular FHD. Its much cheaper and looks pretty good.

In the meanwhile I think so, too, but that doesn't help me (also I want a tint-free panel for this price, if it is LG Dell has to take care to get other panels, that's my opinion) as I need a tint-free panel which covers aRGB (photographer/graphics artist), so I went with the M6700.

Anyway, I am going on vacation for 3 weeks now, will post my experiences afterwards

edit : It was not only corner tint on both of my screens, it was the complete lower bottom of the screen

Quick update on my situation. I sent them an email a couple days ago. I don't know if it was read yet or not, as I haven't received a response, but I did receive an email saying my laptop has shipped and will arrive on 9/5. Thank you for your advice guys. Hopefully the laptop comes working just fine.

Good luck! I'm glad that it shipped. That is very annoying it took so long.
