Hi everyone, i need your help.
First i found a pic of the RGB LED LCD, i see there are 2 connectors on the backside. The big one is for display cable, can anyone tell me what is the small one, for power or?

And second how does the Inverter for RGB LCD look like? I want to know the dell part number so i can order one but could´t find it in internet.
Hope you guys know much about that and would be very kind if you can explain it to me.
    Many many thanks. :D

    LED LCDs don't use inverters.

Good news! A Dell Support guy called me today. They will send me a technician with another LCD. However, they can't choice the manufacturer of the screen...

I will be lucky if I get a LG. Otherwise, I could compare my Samsung screen with a new one (Samsung or not).

    Hi,

I've got another Samsung panel. The Dell technician explain me that the partnumber is the same for both panels :/ This is the reason why they can't choice the manufacturer of the screen.

Well... the last Samsung that I've got is SEC5443 REV00, whereas the first Samsung was REV01.

The colours in both panels are exactly the same, but it seems to me that the backlight is more even in rev01 version. In my actual panel (rev00) the dark zones in both sides (left and right) are more evident. Moreover, this screen (rev00) is LESS bright than SEC5443 rev01 or LG.

With respect to vision fatigue, after two-three days using the first Samsung panel, my eyes got used to new screen.

By the way, LG hardware ID is: LGD018F

    ---

    Edit:

With my original LG and the first Samsung panel (rev01), I worked with brightness around 60-70%. Now, with these screen (Samsung rev00) I must work with brightness at 90-100% to get the same results... arggggg... What can I do? Ask for another replacement? I'm very exhausted!

    ---

    Edit 2:

In my first replacement, the partnumber of the screen was HT009 (http://accessories.dell.com/sna/pro...productdetail.aspx?c=ca&l=en&s=corp&sku=HT009)
In my second replacement, the partnumber was RX392 (http://accessories.dell.com/sna/pro...productdetail.aspx?c=ca&l=en&s=corp&sku=RX392)

    Why?

In both pages say: "Please note that this replacement product is refurbished. Dell provides a warranty of 90 days on all refurbished products."

Same here. I typically have my screen 40%-60% and that's definetly bright enough.

Weird! I wouldn't worry about it too much. The whole system except the battery has 3yrs, even if the system itself is a refurb.
