I have received mine. I5-540M, 8 GB RAM, 128 GB SSD, Full HD screen. Currently installing latest drivers but quite pleased so far.

Very nice set up. Did you go for the 6 or 9 cell battery. Whenever you get a chance could you let us know an idea of the battery life? Thank you.

Hmm very interesting i would like to get a blue ray player as well but am pretty hesitant with the $500 price tag. This sounds a lot more reasonable the only advantage of the dell blue ray is that i believe it also is a blue ray burner. However for the price you are getting way more value with that LG drive.

Carefully check the bay height of your E6510 before spending any money.

Unless the bay is bigger than the 3/8" in my E6400 then you will have fun trying to get a 1/" thick burner into the slot.

I have both. I will test when I'm done with the drivers and stuff.

How good does that screen look? I've had a devil of a time trying to find a laptop with a good LCD and I'm crossing my fingers on this one..

Umm yeah, obviously. Did you look at the pics? It's not a 1" drive.

Will it fit then? The specs say it is .5" thick. That's still bigger then 3/8"

I'm probably not the best one to ask as I have limited experience with laptops. That said it's easily among the best I've seen. My system came with an LG panel. I have a single bright pixel which is annoying - at least it's extremely small. Backlight distribution is pretty good. There is very, very slight clouding and bleeding from the bottom but this is only noticable when you look for it (ie. no image on screen and darkened room). There seems to be a slight shadow along the left and right sides of the screen (moreso the left). These are non-issues in my opinion. Colors seem nice but I can't say anything about accuracy. Viewing angles are not great but I'n my experience they rarely are on laptops. What I wouldn't give to have an IPS panel on this thing... I haven't tried any games but movies look nice on this screen.
Overall I'm quite pleased so far.
