    indeed... just wondering why nobody post e6510 pics... does it really exist ??? ordered my on april 8th and still in production stage.. so some pics of this model chould be appreciated ;-)

    I can't believe yours is still in production with 4/8 order date. When is your est. ship date and what's your configuration??

    I'm kinda scared to see mine being in production that long.

    everything is ok now.. EDD was 5/28 now my order is shipped this morning... have also an UPS track number....
    My config is:
    Core i7-720QM
    4GB DDR3
    250GB 7200rpm
    Nvidia NVS3100m 512MB
    FHD 1080p
    Intel WiFI 6300
    Windwos 7 64bit

    nothing special as you can see... very similar to yours.

    Interesting that production and shipping timing seems to be all over the map. My order was placed on 4/28 with an EDD of 5/17 (estimated shipping date of...today(!)). Called the number again and it's still in the "build stage". :confused:

    I ordered on 5/5 with estimated ship date of 5/26 and EDD of 6/1. I just called and mine moved to the BOXING STAGE!!!!!

    I guess I'll have this thing in my hands within a week :D

    (crossing fingers for absolutely zero defect...)

    Mine is in the boxing stage as well, after calling (website still just shows In Production). Ordered on 4/28, ESD 5/20, EDD 5/21: DVD+RW and FHD were the main parts that I had to wait on. I got free overnight shipping. Does this mean I could be getting this on Friday? I imagine boxing can't take that long...

    Boxing is not literally 'boxing.' :) It means your laptop is being flown over to your country from China. Usually takes 1-2 days, but it may take 3-5 business days at max. Then Dell is going to box up accessories in Tennessee and ship out.

    If the status just changed today, it's quite unlikely you'll get it on Friday. But Saturday is possible I guess.
