    push you to the e6400, of course, if they ever come out... its almost starting to look like engadget was just pulling our leg. its a good thing they released the leak a week before april 1st, or I would really start to wonder...

    rumor has it that the announcement will be on the 29th of July. Availability starting from 12th of August.

    the only source that says this is the post a couple posts ago, the guy saying he got the email about the launch but never provided a copy of the email

    Mind posting some pics? I'm considering whether or not I want to get a Precision M2300 before the D-series goes EOL.

    Red? Damn...what's going on? Latitudes are corporate laptops, not consumer laptops! :mad:

    Do you think you can comment on the build quality? For example, any:

    cpu whine?
    keyboard and chasis and screen flexing?
    unsightly seams?
    keyboard buldges?
    etc?

    Is it as solidly built as a macbook? or are the XPS build quality flaws evident in this latitude as well?
