I hope not...I would like to see a Nvidia Quadro in the Latitudes (and the Precisions which should soon follow).

there is no way dell is going to pick up ati cards on the latitude - the quadro series was basically built for the latitudes as high end work stations for cad rendering instead of 3d gameplay

not sure how much this means, but it has to be a good sign that the lat d830s are now on sale for 447 off.

Save $447 on select Latitude D830 notebooks through the Small Business division.103354

I'm interested in the E6400 since it should offer 14.1" LED backlit WXGA+. I haven't seen any other notebook with that display. Plus lighter than the present model (D630). eSATA is a bonus.

I hope that one reason why Dell hasn't been rushing to the launch is to make sure that they have the hardware they can actually ship. The delays on the M1330 a year ago must have been an embarrassment.

The new T400 Thinkpads will also be offering that screen, 14.1" WXGA+ with LED.

The new Thinkpads will be released within the next two weeks, hopefully Dell can do the same so that I can see some comparisons before buying one or the other.

i am really dissapointed about the supposed screen size on the 4300 with (still) wxga. why couldn't they manage to put wxga+ on it?

the 6400 seems very nice with 2 kg and wxga+ led. but i am really looking for a lighter thing. and if the e4300 will only have wxga, I guess it is the same for the m1330 successor...

    :(

I thought the leak said the E4300 would offer WXGA+. Hmm.

And strangely the HP Elitebook 6930p doesn't...it only offers the LED backlight in a WXGA resolution screen. That's enough to push me toward the E6400 for my next notebook, and I've used Compaq Armadas and Evos for the last decade.
