    Quickie: would it be wrong to ask him to paste with some of my AS5 or MX4?

    Also, does anybody have any specific questions they would like me to ask?

    Doubt it would be wrong, but I know if I was doing this for a customer under the rules of my employer I wouldn't do anything that could possibly shift blame onto either of us.

    Yeah, the assembly shouldve come with Dell paste. Let him goop it up with that stuff and then repaste it yourself after.

    He sounds like a really chill guy when I've talked to him over the phone. Depending on how it plays out, I might jokingly bring up how bad that paste is... I'm sure he already knows how bad it is tbh

    Just called again, he will be here in 5 minutes..

    Ouch.. Especially after they told you there would be one. Was the tech cool at least? Offer any suggestions? Looks like I'm gonna call up pro support when I get home because I wasn't contacted. Not even a "hey, I'm looking into the issue, here's my timeline" email.
