    That's pretty solid... more than I would expect from the Precision M4600(?) which is my other option. Thanks again.

    6c = 4.5-5.5hrs
    9c = 6.5-7.5hrs

    By the way, the E series Latitudes do fit the dock with the 9-cell engaged. Below is my E6420 connected and that uses the same batteries as my E6520. All you need to do is adjust the dock port slider to allow the most room.

    Thanks!... how do you find the 9 cell... do you get used to the thing sticking out of the back?

    Hi Scott,

    Does your E6520 wobble when docked if you push the corners (with or without the battery plugged in)?

    Thanks,

    Chris

    PS: your dock looks wider than mine. My PR03X is as wide as the battery.

    I have the larger PR02X E-PORT PLUS that has the extra ports. The E6420, E6520, and Precision M6600 I use it with all fit snug with no wiggles unless I lift up the front of the laptop and force it back and forth about 2~3mm.

    I have both the 9c and 6c and like the 9c while I am traveling and the 6c when I am around the office or home (close to a wall outlet or the dock). I would get the 9c from Dell [because of the warranty] and then get the lower cost 6c via a third party like this one: NEW OEM DELL Latitude E5420 E5520 E6420 E6520 60wh Battery T54FJ | eBay

    The 9c sticking out the back of the E series is better than my L702X that has the 9c battery sticking out the bottom. This may be good for the cooling on the XPS, but it jacks the system up at an angle, which I do not like. The E series with the battery sticking out the rear does not bother me since the system still sits flat; plus I find the system is actually easier to carry around with the 9c since it acts almost like a handle or grip for my hand.

    Thanks for the info... I think I'll get the 9 cell as that 'bump' does not look that bad.

    Fyi, 1600mhz memory works fine with the 2720QM (kingston PnP). I think the 16gb option is not working with all systems. Can you confirm that scott? You have a lot of cpu's ;-) The memory controller in the 2720QM supports 16gb and 1600mhz according to intel.

    Yes, my M6600 also has a 2720QM and I can run 32GB of 1333MHz or 16GB of 1600MHz memory.

    People can go here to see if their specific processor supports 1066, 1333, or 1600MHz memory: ARK | Your source for information on Intel® products

    In regards to the Dell systems based on the H/QM67 chipset, so far all looks good.
