    No, it isn't normal, it is a design flaw (IMHO).
    None of my older machines do this.
    I've placed my Thinkpad's previous HDD to an external box. It vibrates in the box, but not while in the laptop.

    Gap? Could you show me a photo about it?

    Well it looks like there is some flex on the bottom cover/chasis, the rubber foot on the right corner under the DVD area is not touching the desk, there is about 0,5/1 mm gap.

    Any ideas why my desktop Aero index is 5.4 using the latest drivers?

    The rest of WEI indexes are similar using same processor and 128Gb SSD Samsung 830.

    You should use hd 3000 to get WEI scores. The intel graphic can get higher score than nvidia:D :D

    How do you force it to use the HD3000?
    I don't use games in this laptop. Does it really makes a noticeable difference using it one way or the other?

    HWiNFO64 will show you everything you need. You can also just check the device mananger within Windows and lookup the monitor ID given.
