weird. many manual say 8gb max because of only 2 sodimm slots. My macbook pro also says 8gb max but it has been proven you can add 16gb with 2x8gb sodims. just wondering if anyone has tried it?

I have an E6520 with a WXGA screen with Intel Integrated Graphics. I am used to a WUXGA on my former computer. What must be done to convert this to a WUXGA?
I tried changing the LCD to a WUXGA and it also turned green. Do I need a different cable?

The chipset will support up to 16GB, but you must use a quad core processor.

What is the part number of your cable? The one below is the FHD cable for comparison.

I have a DC02001A3OL cable. The WUXGA screen I was trying was an LP156WF1. Would the cable fix the problem?

So, to confirm, the part number below the scan code is or is not "0MR9MM"? That is the important number.

No, mine is a T38GJ. Seems strange that there are 2 different 40 pin cables.
