No problem on my end. The drivers download just fine for me. I currently have a majority of the drivers for Windows 7 x64 if you need anything in particular. Or I can set up a mirror for some of the drivers for other platforms (e.g. 32-bit), so long as that does not violate any of the rules.

Check the FTP settings in your firewall and browser. You may also want to clear all Dell cookies.

It all depends on which server you connect... try a different Dell website, like Dell Canada or Dell US or Dell U.K, drivers are drivers, they are the same everywhere, you just change location (you are not purchasing anything). Sometimes when Dell servers are overwhelmed, I do this.

Seems pretty complete. You could save a lot if you go through the outlet, but I doubt that you'll find one with a WWAN card. Can your cellular carrier get you one cheaper? It's not that hard to install. Only thing is that you may get one without the antenna. Has something to do with either the WXGA+ display or the Latitude ON module. You'd think they'd put antennas in all of them as displays are assembled before they are married to a base. If you need the bluetooth, get it now as adding it later means disassembling the laptop completely. The WXGA+ is a nice display. Don't they have coupons at the Indian site. That's a lot of rupees.

You may want to change the battery to the 9 cell if you work on the road a lot.

After owning my E6410 for couple weeks I'll comment on a few things:

    1. It runs a lot hotter than expected. Since, to my knowledge, we can't undervolt the i3/i5/i7 cores yet it does run a little hotter than I would like it to. Maybe I should apply some arctic silver I have, but I'm afraid that it would void the warranty.

    2. The vertical viewing angle on the screen is not that great. I know that this is not a major concern most of the times, but sometimes when multiple people do look at my laptop it does become an issue. FYI I received the AUO screen.

    I also have one question:

I bought an E6400 backlit keyboard from eBay, but I noticed that the back light on the keyboard is concentrated on the bottom, which makes the keys on top not as bright as the keys on the bottom. Is this normal for E6400 backlit keyboards?

Thanks a lot for quick response .
Blue tooth is there . I dont understand antenna bit . Does it not come with the wwan card ? There is no coupon in india and this is supposed to be discounted price . I think complete cover and pro support is pushing up the price . How much this will cost in US ? Any idea . On the web i customised got cart price of usd 2000 after discount on the Dell US web site. However it had a netbook almost free . For the wwan card they are only charging extra of usd 45

Try reducing the backlight brightness to about 50% (you can do this in DCP). The unevenness will be less noticeable.

    Detiled specs say

" V1GP8 -WLED LCD Back Cover Silver with WLAN/WWAN support "

Does this mean antenna is embedded in the backcover ?

How hot does it run? Which GPU and CPU do you have? The Intel should (theoretically) run cooler then the nVidia solution since there's no real GPU.
