Will be using it for a live video stream on the 20th that will be the M6700's first use in encoding video that will go out to several thousand people. Will not be turning any screws on the machine until after then because any mistake that I make will introduce instability to the system. Have been running stability tests last week and will continue this week. It did just under 53 hours of high load work last week. It ran from 7:30am to around 6pm ever day last week with around an 80% load unless I was testing something else on it. No software or hardware crashes so far.

Thanks for all the info Bokeh. I am looking forward to some GPU overclocking tests/analysis whenever you get to it (I think you mentioned that at some point; no hurry just expressing interest!)

The "Why not?" question was linked to "CentOS"^^ (CentOS is mostly use for production server, not on worstation or any laptop).

I will try several distros and post the result as soon as I get it (should received tomorrow, if UPS is still good...)

It probably the only analogue that's still around. Hopefully one day these ports can become cartridge options.

How many days did it take to switch from in production to shipped on your order status? It feels like its been forever! I can't wait to finally get it.

Because I was in production during the "Safe Launch", it take from the 31st of July to the 8th of August (From "In production" to "Shipped").

UPS has made a mistake, thinking they will get the 2 packages on monday, they only get it today at 2a.m and 8a.m for the second, so I will not get it today (so bad), will need to wait 2 more days RRRrrrrrrr...^^
