You can calibrate the screen with your choice of hardware calibration systems. The machine has built in software to take to color space down from full NTSC to AdobeRGB and down again to sRGB.

On the battery, in a little over a year of HEAVY use, the 97Whr battery on the M6600 is at 91.7%. I know that when I cell goes the battery will go, but so far so good.

Wow. I just had the worst experience with a dell sales rep. I wanted to order a fully configured M6700 (with K5000 and IPS panel), two port replicators and two 30" monitors.

The sales rep made me a good offer for the M6700, but the monitors were too expensive, more than 250 € over the current street price each. So I asked him if he could make me a better offer. He said he was unable to give a better price for the monitors, so I just went for the M6700 and the port replicators.

Then he called me and told me he made an error with the first offer because he configured the e2e IPS panel from the covet edition instead of the regular IPS panel and asked me what panel i wanted. I told him I wanted the regular IPS and the silver base.

However the new offer did not contain the IPS panel but the regular panel at just a slightly lower price than the first offer. I wrote him about the wrong panel and asked him for a new offer with the proper panel. This time the offer did really include the correct panel but the price was much higher than the first offer I got.

Then he called me and told me the price was be higher because the system does not allow him to configure the system like he did a couple of days ago. Riiiiiight.

If he cannot give me a better discount because I won't take the monitors he should simply say so! The whole thing came over so incredibly sleazy that I will rather look for alternatives than shop Dell.

    Way to alienate customers, Dell!

Don't get discouraged, just try another rep. If I judged a company by its sales reps, I'd never buy anything of a value. So, I'd rather go through the ordering hassle but get what I want.

Would you pay three times as much to get it if it were available? There are always compromises here, and the price curves are seldom linear. Consider NEC.
Tell us how you believe the scenario should have gone, and why. I want to learn from your bad experience.

Is the firepro M6000 a mxm 3.0a or 3.0b card?
