I just posted the first measurements of the M6700 IPS panel. It is the best measuring panel I have ever seen. I really want to see some measurements of the HP8770w panel. I don't see how HP could be better.

I think the discounts may be better in Canada if you can talk to a dealer/rep. So you may get closer to the US price that way.

You definitely should talk to a rep instead of ordering online, just ask them to make you a good deal and they will! I got around 900$ knocked off the price, it's really worth it

I can get a 10% discount if buying as an end user or 20% through the company, but you still get a better price in the US using the same approach.
Having said that, I'll be using our internal business channel with Dell anyways and that gives me even a better discount. Still, I'd close a nicer deal in the US.

I ordered my M6700 7/25 and it just shipped today, getting it tomorrow! Estimate on the website was the 13th, but the Dell rep said no later than the 10th and even that was pushing it.

Awesome. I ordered mine on 7/25 and it just shipped today. I didn't get an e-mail but I checked after I saw these posts, and what do you know it, "Shipped." FedEx doesn't have a delivery date yet but I bet it will be here Thursday or Friday.
