The trackpad settings should be under:
    START > Settings > Devices > Mouse & Touchpad

Scroll down for the trackpad options. Looks like you can only turn settings on/off, not change or reassign them.

Ouch. In Windows 7, there's a full configuration utility for it.

Generally speaking TPM isn't just a bios thing. There is physical hardware that does work. Notwithstanding, could Dell have the HW and disable it in BIOS for XPS. Sure.

Playing with 5510 configurations and I now see "The Hard Drive option selected is not compatible with the Primary Battery option selected." 6 cell 81 whr battery and a single spindle aren't compatible? Do they use the 2.5" Bay to increase battery size? Thanks.

Yes, the larger battery and the 2.5" drive bay use the same physical space, you have to pick one or the other.

If you use the 2.5" bay you will have to order the 56Wh battery.

Sata interposer cable and rubber sides arrived today. Installed a Samsung 850 EVO, all good and working.

All tests came back normal. However, my support representative was able to get a HDD replacement approved. Hopefully the new one will be in perfect working order and I'll have a nice, new laptop to use.

Got mine today (and my first post here). Overall I was satisfied with the build, the screen and everything, except after using it for an hour or two, I noticed severe screen bleed.
Now I know that there is IPS glow and some backlight bleeding here and there, but this is just too severe for a $2400 laptop.

I noticed some glow/bleeding with mine as well. It's hard to know exactly from the picture, but I think mine is less severe. Are you going to try for a replacement or just going to get a different computer model/brand altogether?

My HDD is still chattering away. Hopefully it'll hold out until I can get the new HDD in it. If I'm still not happy with the new HDD, then I guess I'll have to look for a different laptop.
