    I just bought this notebook.
I did benchmark test and here are the results
    https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/17789760

Speed of this NvME SSD is really poor. Nothing better comparing to my old SATA SSD Samsung 840 Evo.

Anyway... Before purchasing I planed to change it with 500GB Samsung 970 Evo Plus, but I'm not sure if that will be a good choice, because I found somewhere info that there is possibility that Dell was limited that port because battery improvements.
Does purchasing of a 970 Evo Plus is wasting of money for this notebook?

Did you end up trying the 970 Evo Plus? How does it perform?

Hi, I just upgraded my SSD to Samsung 970 Evo Plus, and I'm very satisfied with the results.
This is after fresh restored Windows Image, and updates. Nothing tweaked. AHCI is set.

I will try later with Samsung Magician, to see if there are any tweaking options about performance, but for me this is great also. I expected much much worse

    That's a beautiful result!

Do you notice any heat on the palmrest area above the drive?

Does anybody know where can I find the dell software that comes pre-installed with the dell latitude. I want to get rid this windows version and use a more refined one. Does it worth re-installing the dell software?

    Hello, guys.
I bought this laptop, solid and nice for everyday use. I got a problem with the backlight leakage. Right upper corner was too luminous. You can check the photos of the screen. I wrote to dell's tech support, they accepted screen replacing. A tech guy with new screen replaced my old leaking screen. A new one was much better, but still not as perfect as I want it to be. I thought I have to ask other guys with this laptop about their screens before trying to replace it again. Because maybe this is normal and no need for further replacing?

So, can you make a photo of your screen on max brightness and black screen in dark room? Or maybe just compare your screen to my and tell me that I don't need to further replacing the screen. Thank you!
