Any Covets shipping yet?

Just curious about Covet orders. I ordered mine on release day (10/16) and it's still in the production stage. Estimated ship date is 11/21. Trying to wait patiently but it's not working...excitement is building hourly!

Update: My original order date was 10/16 but it was held pending payment review. My official order confirmation date was 10/22. Order changed to shipped status on 11/5 so it took two weeks to go from order confirmation to shipped. About 2 1/2 weeks early. Not too bad. My Covet is on its way!

 

Yeah mine's not due til DEC 9th, oh lordie. Ordered 10/27. Whoever gets thiers, show us photos!

BTW Alienware just released a new 17incher w/ quad core & 64bit OS, if anyone cares.

 

I ordered on the 20th and the ship date was scheduled for 11/18. However, my sales rep checked last week and said it looked like they started building it that day, so I could possibly have it later this week. Nothing has changed on the order status page, however.

 

UPDATE: Mine shipped today! ETA is Thursday.

 

Mine is shipping on the 25th, but hopefully I too can get some old_man type of luck.

nixx, when was the original estimated ship date? Just trying to get a clearer estimate on mine. Seems like their estimates are more pessimistic than their actual build times.

 

I placed my order on October 21st and I believe it said the original estimated ship date was November 15 or 17. So it took me about 14 days to move to shipped status.

 

Awesome, thanks. I was going to be bummed if mine was really shipping right before Thanksgiving, when I'll be out of town. If they're shipping in two weeks, that still gives a week buffer.
