    I have installed all of the ControlPoint items from the Dell site and it still doesn't recognize any driver.

    There are 2 Control Point Security Files, did you install the drivers file first?

    I am getting "Could not detect USH" error when i try to install the driver with the .exe file. Already tried disabling and enabling TPM and nothing has helped so far. Any ideas what i should try next?

    Oh, and i have installed the controlpoint security driver and application.

    I'd be REALLY happy if somebody could just tell me where to get a MS-DOS version to boot from CD. And if possible, the further steps I needed to take to put the files in the disc, and what to do once DOS was running.

    I didn't use a CD, I made a FreeDOS bootable USB stick using the "HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool", then copied the extracted Dell USH files to it, you also need to ensure the TPM is "enabled" and "deactivated" in BIOS, then boot from the USB stick and run the update batch file.

    I've got this to work on Vista 64 bit. But only after installing the ControlPoint Security Manager driver; R203757. I did follow the other instructions first; enabling and deactivating TPM in bios, then booting from a USB key and running the firmware update but that didn't work.

    @AndyBurns
    Could you write, which files were on the stick, please? I have a bootable Stick, but the M4400 wont accept it.

    How is it possible to find out, which firmware version is installed?

    Edit: I have achieved that the DOS promt works. What have I to put in, to start the update? How can I find out, which version is already installed? Which files of the USH-package should be in the BootCD?
