i've been hunting around for reviews but havent found any. but i decided to order mine anyway. it will be here by friday. if you have any questions then i'd be happy to answer.

im planning to do quite a bit of gaming on mine too. i tend to stay away from identical cards with higher clocks because i feel im not getting as much value. one of the reasons is i can overclock the card myself.....

im planning to keep my laptop for 4-5 years.

i think for a year or two it will be fine for gaming on medium/high settings but after that ...... well its the case with all laptops

if you want a lasting gaming machine...cheaper to get a desktop, or a monster laptop. i dont think the 1700 will increase your futureproofness very much.

Okay thanks I'll probably have order mine by then but I'm sure I'll be wondering a few things still
Yea I know I guess I'll probably just get a gaming system or a nice little gaming desktop when this Lappy can't play games anymore

So I'm gonna order it on monday with the 770, Thanks for the Help on that so far

But does anyone know what Linux kernal starts supporting the Wifi and ethernet?

And any advice on how to get some extra stuff... Since I don't care about the price as long as it's $1880 or under

i got a 400usd discount, i went through small/medium biz. however i did buy an inspiron at the same time, got a good discount on that too.

if you give me the specs u want, i'll check with my rep what price he can give, then i suppose you can bargain with your rep on that :)

All the specs that I plan to get are on the start of this thread
But if I was going to update any of the hardware it would be 4gb or ram and the 320gb 7200rpm hard drive but dell hardcore over prices these...
I would also like a good mouse and cooling pad to come with it (Which I am getting I just don't think there gonna be very good)
