    Hi All,

I just wanted to give a status on my order and receipt of an e6500. I ordered mine last Thursday, and low and behold, received an e-mail last night it had shipped, and it arrived today. Delivery time was an incredible 5 days from order.

I haven't played with it yet, but did weigh it. With the LED, 250gb hd, DVD Burner, and 6 cell battery, it comes in right at 5.9 pounds according to my digital baby scale.

    Yeah! Lol.

And is it true the NVIDIA Quadro NVS 160M is worse than the M1530s 8600GT?

Did you really received it already? I don't believe you. Where are your evidence that you have it? Do you have pictures to prove you have E6500? :D :D :D

Thanks in advance for posting pictures... :)

Sorry about he poor quality pictures, I hand held at high ISO so they are a bit grainy. My initial comments are:

    1) Feels nice and solid. I used to use MPC's and their quality has gone to crap, the last one I bought was a plastic joke. The E series feels like the old Micron Computers.

    2) The backlight for the keyboard is really, really cool.

    3) Vista is like learning an entirely new OS.

    4) It will take me few days or more to get around to transferring all my files and start using it. Note I am just a business user who does office type stuff, so my info will be useless as far as how fast it is or anything similar.
