Interesting. Is it full-spec (QX9300, FX3700M, RGB-LED), too? Maybe you have SDDs (I have 2 HDDs in RAID0)? I think mine never could do more than 2 hours unless maybe on minimum usage and brightnesss.

Except mine is equipped with fx2700m. That explains the extra battery life. Installed USB 3.0 expresscard for external port multiplier hdd. Works like a charm. Built in hdd on the laptop is non raid :)

The FX2700 is an ok card, but the 3700 is awesome and mine overclocks like a bearcat. I dont actually O/C for anything other than benchmark. You can buy a 3700 on Ebay for reasonable.

I don't play games, so it's ok. I use it to do film music & video editing, quite ok. Since I'll probably be upgrading within the next year, I'll just wait

    so i built a m6400 with fx3800m
    .......
it post, in bios says "unkown video card" "1024mb"
clean install win7 + vga driver, good, gpuz recognized every spec

but when launch 2d/3d application few(which makes 3800m go to performance clock: 675mhz core/1000mhz mem)..........always blacks after creenfew seconds, have to do hard reboot

ran diagnosis/mats under dos without error

then find out theres common "m6400 black screen crash" issue
