Question about SSDs and BIOS settings. I was looking for a current reference and was having trouble finding something.

Basically this: I have a M4600 (Finally :) ) with the minicard SSD and a 500GB spinning disk. My BIOS came in the RAID On setting. Is this optimal or is AHCI better? I was thinking that TRIM did not work in the RAID mode. Can anyone confirm/deny this? If I change the setting, do I need to reload? Thanks.

    Is TRIM supported in RAID?

Thats fairly close. I'm surprised the firepro's Solidworks score is so much higher.

Seriously considered ordering up another M4600 today, this time with the IPS and a FirePro card instead of the 2000M since it won't support Optimus.

I'm told by my rep that now they can't order the IPS screen with the FirePro card. Unbelieveable.
