Let's try another test : just encode the trailer w/o effect, in AVI uncompressed file format... doing the test right now...

The entire set. I saw iieeann had it posted so I figured I would compare it. Download speed seems to be capped at 64kbps though so its gonna be a while, I gotta head to bed :)

I'll try rerunning the encoding tomorrow without Chrome on, but I doubt that it'll really change much.

Haha, okay I figured it out. I had my power options set to "Power Saver". I didn't realize it didn't auto change back when I plugged it in. Might explain why CAD was acting slow earlier. I changed it to Ultra and this is what I'm getting.

    2820QM, 2000M, 16GB 1600MHz
    AVI Lossless: 4:36
    Gaussian 50 + H.264 Blu-ray: 5:35

I have an M4600 on order as my company laptop - hopefully should be here next week to replace my old Latitude D620.

Can anyone tell me if the M4600 has a switchable mic/line input? On the D620 (which uses a sigmatel soundcard), whenever you plugged something into the mic socket, you got a pop-up asking if you wanted to select microphone or line input.
Does anyone know if this feature is also available on the M4600? - Thanks
