There are a total of 5 screws that you need to remove once you have the bottom door off.
    1. one screw holding the HDD latch in place.
    2. the four screws that secure the HDD.
Once these 5 are removed you should be able to remove the primary HDD caddy. After that it is up to you to add the screws back in as the caddy is designed to remain in the system without the screws.

    JonasM,
Is there any reason for you not to order an ips screen?

    Sorry to repeat the post:
    Dell-Mano_G,
How come the FHD IPS screen isn't available to Hong Kong?

Have you asked your local sales team that question? They might be in a better position to know.

    Hi Dell-Mano_G,
    Thanks for your reply.
The sales rep has already escaleted the issue to the senior management, but still the answer remains the same: IPS screen won't be available in China and Hong Kong. Neither will it be available in the region in the near future.

    PS
After re-reading your message between the lines, I realize your position. Apologize for bugging you.

Well, if you are Dell you might do the same thing. This is business notebook and meant for stability, not fast and furious. If it can be overclocked then Dell support department would have big headache. We as end user of course not happy about it.

However, if you know that Alienware overclocking function also has been locked, then the statement can be applied 100%.

With this info my M4600 was ordered today. What is the average lead time for these in the US?

Could that bright LED be there to light up your face when you are using the web-cam? I know, I know, being on stage with all them bright lights and people staring at you is intimidating .... ;)

I waited a month, some people a week, so I would say it really depends. Last I heard the fingerprint readers were causing delays but it might not be the case anymore. You could always ask your rep if that will delay shipment.

Well first of all Ips isnt available for the m6600...
And to be honest i dont realy need an ips screen. I mostly will be using this nb for software development. Ips would be an overkill. Besides i have two 24' Ips screens on my desk which i can use if i feel the urge to get more accurate colour reproduction.

Shouldnt the customer be able to choose between most stability and best performance. Still i can understand Dells Desicion. But i guess it has less to do with stability issues and more with Dell having to replace alot of dead cpus.
