I own an 4600 w/IPS screen, I confirm the screen is matte, and viewing angles are just excellent !
About the color : astonishing : I've looked for a 1080p animation picture in Utube : the colors and contrast are fabulous !

Never regret choosing the IPS option...:)

belive me, if/when the webcam is on, you will know. i dont know who had the brilliant idea of making its indicator light an extremely bright white led much like a camping torch....

this is the first time i've had to resort to LED masking measures. I.e sticking a bit of tape on top of it to stop the glare.

The guys on the forum were kind enough to change my user name to better reflect my working at Dell. Thanks guys!!!! I changed my user name from Havoctex to Dell-Mano_G. I thought that I should be as transparent as possible since my other user name really didn't sound like I worked at Dell. :)

    Cool :D

Is there a possibility for Optimus to work with the IPS screen in the future? Would this require steps taken by Dell or Nvidia?

ok so something came up and i have to be in singapore. i'm getting on the next available flight and i'll be there for 2 months. lets see how the M4600 holds up to the travel, and more importantly---the 32*c weather o_0

my m4400 used to pant like an asthmatic poodle. (fan 100% almost all the time)
