I don't remember anything about my trip to Singapore except how hot it was all the time.

    Hi to everybody,
at least I'm ready to buy a M4600. Among processor choice, the most powerful option here in Italy is I7-2820QM, but in someone's sign I've seen the I7-2820XM and in the first few days I've seen the possibility of configuring the M4600 with I7-2920XM. Can anyone confirm this is the actual maximum configuration available?
    Thanks in advance!!

I don't think theres a 2820XM. The US site does allow the M4600 to be customized with the 2920XM but the price difference is $700 from the 2820QM! I doubt it's really worth it. I don't know about Dell Italy though.

Only $700. My place is $1700 !! that is x2.5 you know. When question the sales person just said "It is shown that way in our system" !@#$xx... I still get it anyway. Half of the m4600 price is because of the 2920xm.

2920xm is currently the fastest intel can offer. Dell charged a premium for those aiming for the extreme CPU, and they locked the overclocking function. Throttlestop can't push it an inch above default clock speed.

isnt that kinda hypocritical of them? I mean you pay for a extreme cpu but get a locked one with a clock that isnt much higher than the i2820qm, or am i missing something?
