Can you install a drive in place of the DVD player if the player is a slot loader?

This question is for those with the M4600, 128GB mSATA Boot and 2000M GPU. After adding RAM, optimizing, updating and everything else, I ran W.E.I. The results were CPU 7.6, RAM 7.6, Graphics 5.8, Gaming Graphics 6.9 and Hard Disk 7.4. This is in line with what I expected, though I thought the Graphics scores would be higher. Disabled Optimus in BIOS to give it a run and I saw the enlarged resolution normally seen in safe mode. Rechecked and did not proceed any further. Questions; are my graphics scores in line?, and if I turn off Optimus option, how do I restore "normal" viewing? Doing as little to this machine now as necessary to keep it fresh. It is Son's Grad present.

    Everything works great, just curious.

    Thanks.
