Just slightly overclocked it. Here are my 3dmark 2011 scores:

    P1610 - stock
    P1746 - 800/950
    P1850 - 850/1000

Probably can go to 870/1100 stable but I'll stick with this for now. 1850 puts me in the same league as the relatively low end 640m haha

v4 is the best one as it is matte and provides 95% NTSC color gamut. I'm interested in this panel too as the WLED screen that came with my M4600 is quite grainy. The only downside of the AUO is lower maximum brightness level in comparison to the LG screen . Since this model is fairly old now I wonder if there are TN LED panels out there which are better than B156HW01 .v4 and compatible with M4600. By the way, what is the panel id of your computer? Mine is LGD02D9. I wonder as well if Dell uses other models appart from this one for the WLED FHD configuration.

Right now there are not may options available to upgrade the graphics card of precision M4600. The most powerfu 3.0A card is Quadro 2000M , but hopefully Dell will release newer nvidia kepler based cards for M4700 with 3.0A form factor thay might be backward compatible with M4600.

EXACTLY why the M6600 was the only choice for me. Would have loved a more portable workstation but the crippled MXM slot in the M4600 killed it for me.

Buying the M4600 was a high end compromise for mobility and function as it applies to an Engineering Student. The M6600 would better serve Son as a desktop replacement due to size, but that is already handled. As built, his machine should be more than adequate through his undergrad however. I was more considering "what ifs" for later while waiting on delivery.

    Thanks.
