Yea the whole of the 19x.xx where quite bad i heard. the other guy is using to my belief driver 189.74. dated in 16 of april.
maybe the manufacturers modded the best stable drivers. They wont just allows us to use the lates drivers if its not stable because they have to be as strict as possible to making sure the temps on max load will not go over the max operating temp or its considered false advertising and i guess the drivers knot3d is using works best for dell and yours works best hp......or maybe the stock speed is a lil higher on dell.
As for the 720m and 820m. im not ure how much it contributes to the difference in scores but im do know that the 820m and 920m with the same gpu makes a BIGish difference by a few hundred points.

I am considering purchasing the M4500, but I'm wondering if I will
be confortable with the size of the display. The height appears to
be quite a bit less than what I'm used to, but it's hard to tell
without actually having one in front of me. What is the physical
height and width of the display?

I want to purchase a port replicator and connect the M4500 to a larger
monitor most of the time. However, I will be traveling with it too.
Does anyone find that they have to do a lot of scrolling with the
widescreen display or have any eye strain from the high resolution?

I would appreciate any insight from anyone who already owns one.
    Thanks.

I guess it will be 5540. I am currently using 5530 (bought separately some time ago). It doesn't work in windows because of driver issue (I think dell driver checks notebook model) but it works just fine in Linux.

    19.5cm high
    34.7cm wide
I don't think scrolling is an issue, I am however still getting used to the missing height. I tried few games and it is quite noticeable. The screen strains my eyes more than the 1680x1050 I had before but I think I can get used to it.

Similar situation as me. I ordered on 4/19. Original estimated delivery was 5/10. Then on 5/8 I got a notice that it was delayed until 5/18. Two days later it shipped and I'm getting it 5/12 (tomorrow, yipee!).

Can you please tell me how long it will stay on battery with DualCore i7 (620) and Quadro 880 with the 9-cell Battery? (Wlan activated and a "normal screen brightness")

Can someone make a battery-eater test?

    Thanks :)

it will consume around 20W/h, so you will get 4-5 hours.
