I've heard others using chewing gum or blutack and rolling it over the grills, haven't tried it myself yet though

Can anyone who ordered the M4500 with Dell's 256GB SSD reply to the thread letting us know the manufacturer and model of the SSD they received?

Really??? That gives me plenty of hope for getting it before June! What screen did you order?

    EDIT: N/m, see it's the 1600x900 screen... I got the nice, delayed 1920x1080 :(

My M4500 was supposed to come with the backlighted keyboard, but no lights. Is there a setting somewhere, or did they install the wrong keyboard?

    Thanks,
    Bruce

Never mind, I found it. :)

I did. I've been knee deep in working on the config. I decided to do a clean re-install of the OS with the disk controller in AHCI mode. I have the 64GB SSD primary with the 250GB secondary drive config. Now I seem to be struggling with getting the proper disk driver for the install so that it will boot properly. At the moment I'm really regretting to decision to do a re-install. I think I'll get it sorted out though.

My initial impressions from before I ventured in to the re-install are overall very good. The only thing I'd complain about is that the touchpad seemed to be glitchy at times (it would occasionally be unresponsive for a second). I'm hoping that's just a driver / software issue that will go away with the clean install and/or a driver update.

Hold down Fn button then hit the right arrow twice (just in case anyone is looking for it)
