the gpu is soldered into the mobo, therefore, cannot be upgraded right?

Mine has now been despatched but I'm a little surprised to see "no wireless" in the packing slip. Checking the order process again, it seems none of the M4500 configurations have any Wifi order options whatsoever, so it's actually impossible to order an M4500 with Wireless at the moment (UK site).

Having handed over 2500.00 GBP, am I wrong to expect more?

Always call to place an order iso using the online configurator. A lot of the times there's options missing, misnamed and what not. Also when calling you can ask the sales rep what he can do with the price and they're always able to shave a bit off.

I'm using a pair of dell u2711's at 2560x1440, but it's via the e-port Plus port replicator, it wouldn't work with any other config.

I am also using the e-port, but not the Plus. This must be the problem. I did not realize there were two.

Do your monitors come on correctly when you boot? When I boot the smaller monitors comes on with lower resolution, only. Then I can manually reset so both are on.

Also at a second location I just have one monitor, and I have to restart the monitor for the desktop to be seen.

I suspect this must be the problem. Dell said it would drive two monitors.

I was initially sent the wrong replicator (sounds like it is similar to yours); it would not even light the 2nd display regardless of resolution on either monitor. And it really sucks because it takes 2-3 weeks to get something to my APO.

I do not have an issue at either location where I am using a replicator. It always works just as it's supposed to.

Call'm up, they will probably take it back. One thing I like about Dell is the business CS
