The DDR3 modules electrically connect directly to the CPU. Maybe the first repair attempt should be to try a different CPU (as opposed to motherboard replacement)?

Good luck. Pls keep us posted on the outcome.

I have been using two GSkill F3-10666CL9D-8GBSQ modules for a total of 8 GB in an M4500 equipped with an i7 720QM for a while without any issues. These are 9/9/24 DDR3's.

AFAIK, your 10600's should work too.

This is a data point, not a recommendation.

    Hello,

I'm new to the forums here and I just got myself an M4500 from the Dell outlet and I thought it was a great deal for what I got. Anyway, it didn't come with the bluetooth module, which I purchased afterwords. My question is, where does it go? I don't really know because I couldn't find a photo of where it goes or find a copy of the service manual.

I'm a Sys Admin and where I work I've had plenty of laptops apart for repairs so I'm not afraid to install this myself I just need to have an idea of where it gets installed. I assume its not extremely easy otherwise I would have figured it out by now.

    Thanks!

Is there no one who has the same problems?

Is there a little chance to solve the problem. Dell can't help yet.
I want a solution for this problem.
With that problem the notebook is absolute useless. It is not posible to work with it for a few hours.

I'm looking at the Outlet options. Any chance RGB comes back, or is this just gone?

How does the standard screen compare?

You referring to 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution?

M4500, unfortunately, never received an RGBLED option like the M4400 even though it was in the pre-release sales hype. :(

The standard 1920x1080 matte screen is nice, though.
