Anyone else noticing their power cord falling out frequently? I keep my M4400 plugged in 100% of the time (playing games or compiling code) and use it on my lap on a cooling pad. On my original refurb, and now on the replacement, I'm noticing the cord falling out quite easily, often just from me shifting positions.

exactly the same for me. Error 13 and 14, terminating the Programm. Happening while doing 3D and Still Image works.

Any clue how to resolve it? I tried to remove all NVIDIA drivers and reinstalling, though nothing bettered.

Even installed some experimental MS Hotfixes, which probably bettered a lil bit, but still im encountering sometimes these crashes.

    Extremly annoying.

Same here. I was worried that I'd tilted the laptop back accidentally with the cord plugged in and loosened the connector. Glad to hear that I'm not the only one (although I'd be more glad if it was tighter!)

At first when I was only getting driver error 13, I contacted Adobe and they said that those errors are notifications that the software tried to ask for opengl support but the video card didn't know how to handle it. They said that this is generally due to corruption in the driver installation. (Which was odd to me as I always try to uninstalled before updating and only have installed Dell drivers.)

They next suggested that I use driver cleaner to strip the old driver parts and then install the latest Dell driver. After doing so I kept getting a message that I had a newer driver installed. ?? I checked and sure enough the system had reverted to another driver. I have no idea where that driver came from especially since I had run driver cleaner.

I finally ended up installed the default vga driver and then the new Dell. After all that now I also have error 14.

I am wondering if its the Dell drivers, I've noticed that the latest one is dated 9/08. I'm wondering if they uninstall correctly. I'm thinking about reformatting and see starting over will help. I might try some of the laptopvideo2go drivers. Its really kinda a bummer to have to do all this work when we bought a certified laptop with a Quadro videocard. Anyway please let me know if you find any resolution to this I will keep you up to date on my status.

Also I have problems with graphics.
I tried three versions of the drivers...
2x original from DELL and 1x from laptopvideo2go but without success...
I have problems with displaying menus in Solidcamu after returning from opengl mode.
From time to time crashing Solidworks2009 SP2.1,Solidworks2008SP3 and Vericut.
I suspect that there is no problem with opengl but with DirectDraw in DirectX...

I think the GFX Crashes are OpenGL related. At least the error's tell so.

For Photoshop i turned off Graphic Acceleration and hadn't have any error so far for Photoshop - though thats not really the goal..

I'll keep you for sure posted if find any solution - hope we find one..
