Can you post some pics? I can't believe this, I had the WXGA+LED M4400 and compared it to the M6400's RGB-LED. The difference was noticable anytime.

    --> RGB-LED better colors
--> LED better contrast, slightly brighter

I didn't mean different from previously posted benchmarks, I meant different performance levels between the FX 770 and FX 1770. Other benchmarks I saw indicated that the performance difference between them was about 10 to 20%. These scores show 20 to 50%, a significant difference, at least, in the 3D visualization arena! :)

Cool, so I guess your standard is comparable to mine. Can't wait for your experience and opinion!

What do you mean by "Windows unable to use the wide-gamut"?
Btw I recently found a German article on wide gamut displays . Didn't think it might be relevant for M4400's screen so I haven't read it myself.

What driver and OS are you using in this comparison.....very very surprising result for an identical chip running 125mhz more on the core as it's only performance advantage.
Your FX770M bench is lower than my stock one,I have a faster cpu than you but less memory.

using dell driver 176.26. V10 specview, first score is stock, second is at the 625mhz FX1700 core speed, third is "find optimum settings" overclock [which is waaay higher than all three core/shader/memory fx1700 stock clocks]and has remarkably similar results to your FX1700 score's given variation due to diff driver's,cpu etc.

    3dsmax-04 37.72/ 37.77/ 37.95
    catia-02 47.22 /48.73 /49.58
    ensight-03 39.31/ 42.63/ 50.02
    maya-02 157.35 / 175.85 / 193.43
    proe-04 46.54/ 47.95 /48.96
    sw-01 72.79 /74.36/85.66
    tcvis-01 21.39/ 23.80/30.77
    ugnx-01 19.80/22.46/28.78

Honestly can't believe the "openGL is different" thing, both 770M and 1700M are both openGL optimized quadro's with the same oft quoted non optimization of D3d [which personally I think is rubbish] they are exactly the same chip type, with the same 32 shaders, same 128bit membus, same shader speed, same memory speed, same amount and type of memory....the only difference technically is an extra 125mhz on the FX1700M core speed and possibly some extra voltage which will only add stability at higher clock setting's.....wonder where all your extra speed came from.....drivers?

If any of you have had the chance to calibrate your RGB-LED, would you mind sharing your ICC profile?

I know that it would not be a perfect match, as each screen has its own qualities, but I'd still be interested in trying it out.
