You will need to remove the keyboard.

Here is a video on how to reach the GPU which also shows how to remove the keyboard. I just found this.

Please forgive my newbness but this laptop keeps getting better and better! I never knew what the MXM standard was before and I did not know that the GPU is replaceable.:vbeek:

Don't want to be a party pooper but I assume they will ship your "new girlfriend" from China? I read that delivery could take 2 weeks orso...

Hi, could you be a bit more precise about which FHD IPS option you selected exactly in the order?

I returned my UHD model because of the attrocious lack of brightness and viewing angle, and want to maximise my chances of getting a bright panel upon reordering one...

Maybe also try to find out the exact panel type you got. TIA!

    Hello Folks,
My 7510 with the Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1535M v5 @ 2.90GHz seems not switching on turbo mode, enabling or disabling the option from the BIOS does not change in performance, neither in CINEBENCH 15 , neither in CPU-Z.
Is there any monitoring tool to see if the CPU clock is switching to the 3.5GHz boost mode ?

    Thanks in advance,
    Best Regards,
    WV

Does anyone has experience with the "15,6 inch UltraSharp Full HD touch" display?

Haven't seen any comment on this screen qualiy and brightness...
The one on the Lenovo P50 is very dark apparently

Find by myself, CPU-Z is reporting the actual clock speed at 3.3-3.6 Ghz

Was yours at least as bright as an iPhone in moderate daylight? I saw dyseac's comparison shot against his older laptop but who knows how bright his older one really was.

This example seems pretty bright, no?

Has anyone compared this to an older Precision M3800 with the same glossy version of the screen?

This is really the only thing holding me back from getting this laptop.

I don't believe there is a glossy screen for this Presicion 7510 (at least not in Europe)

The screen issue is also holding me back from a purchase at the moment...
