    Thank you all for your responses. I do now see that on the Dell web site for the TB15 that it supplies 130 watts, but only for Dell attached equipment. I thought it could only supply 100 watts per the TB3 spec. This is good to know and make me more comfortable using just the TB15 to power my 7510.

    From the Dell web site:
    The Dell Thunderbolt™ Dock with Intel® Thunderbolt 3 technology is the ultimate docking solution, designed for power users and traditional workstation clients, creating the ability to connect three FHD displays or two 4K displays at 60Hz with a single data and power source up to 130W for Dell devices and 60W for non-Dell devices*. http://accessories.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=450-aevm

    Oh man... I'm getting random pauses now. Not a reboot-needed lockup, but a pause. They've been lasting 10 to 30 seconds, where no input is accepted from kb or pad, no sound, no screen movement. Then it'll sometimes beep a few times and resume normal operation. The beeping might be input buffer overflows.

    @dougrz you are using the beta intel video driver? Try going back a few revisions to an earlier video driver from Dell's website to see if any change.

    Indeed I was, ygo. Rolled back 2 versions to the 4352's. The 4390's were crashing on me.

    Problems with 64Gb RAM in 7510

    Just installed 4x16Gb G.Skill Ripjaws DDR4-2133 RAM. Machine fails to POST. By adding/removing/swapping modules, including exchanging one of the 16Gb cards with the 8Gb that came installed, I've been able to eliminate the possibility of a bad card or bad card socket. All 4 16Gb cards and all 4 sockets are fine.

    I currently have 3x16Gb + 1x8Gb cards installed for a total of 56Gb. System POSTs and starts up just fine, with all 56Gb recognized. I'm left with the conclusion that something in the BIOS or OS (I'm on Win10 Pro) is to blame. Has anyone experienced this problem?

    I'm current with latest BIOS from Dell's site.

    @misterzero

    Pretty sure this is a mainboard limitation. Being able to put in 64GB physically doesn't mean that it is ok. For desktop mainboards, there are lists what is allowed and what not, maybe you're able to find it for your mainbaord model number too.

    OS problems because of 64 instead of 56 GB are unlikely.

    Dell allows you to configure 64 GB when purchasing this system, so it should be able to at least boot with 64 GB installed.

    Do you have a 7510? Dell's website says that the 7510 requires the 240 watt version of the TB15 dock. Only lower end latitudes and such are approved to be used with the 180 watt TB15.

    I'm using the 240 watt TB15 dock with my TB3 7510 and have little issue. A few annoinces but nothing deadly.

    But this dock was suggested by Dell Tech pro support only. They told me only this model is available in India and I will work with my machine too.

    Now I am little bit worry with your feedback.
