hmmm, question was about satisfaction, not screen technology. ;)

Does anyone know if the 7510's uhd display flicker free is (no pwm)?

I have only found info on the 7710 fhd which is not completely flicker free but not bad. Whereas, the uhd of the xps 15 is completely flicker free (though it probably isn't the same as the 7510 uhd).

This could help me decide, since the p70's display uses pwm under 95%brightness. I expect the p50 to do the same. If the 7150 is no worse than the 7710 fhd then I will go for the dell.

Not completely, read review: on very low brightness some flickering exists.

I have read it in another review, maybe of the earlier version. But that pwm is still a great deal better than the pwm at 228 Hz under 95% brightness measured on the p70, isn't it?

Give the 7510 a try if you can return it. But, sound like the P70 (or P50) would be ideal for you since there not much review that can persuade you otherwise.

depends of how sensitive your eyes are. From what I've seen on current XPS15 UHD IGZO screen is just fantastic.

    +1.

Yes but satisfaction is tied to expectation, and the more we know about the tech and not what the reps tell us.

Also just because we're told a screen has a wide viewing angle, doesn't mean that it has the same exact color profile at wide viewing angles. Like saying stainless steel doesn't rust. :) But yes, my satisfaction is genuine.

Since, none of these machines is available here in Budapest, trying and returning isn't really an option.
The dell would be bto straight from the US with a 4 week shipping time.
The lenovo would be from Austria which is a lot closer but it would be too much of a hassle with the paperwork to send it back.

If I had had the opportunity that you have in the US, I would already have taken them :)

That is why I try to make a careful decision, which is practically impossible in this situation. Anyway, I don't think I can go wrong with either of them. This pwm bothers me a bit though as I am prone to headaches.
