Which reminds me: You might want to take a look at the HP ZBook models also. I just priced out the top-end 17-inch model, and it turns out it's a much, much better deal than the equivalent Lenovo P70. They also have an equivalent to the P50, and my guess is that the comparison comes out similar. Both the Lenovo and HP models have the advantage of a fully functional keyboard, rather than the crippled POS that comes with the Dells these days (no Home/End keys).

The only problem is that I am located in Europe where the hp costs a lot more than either the dell or the lenovo. Ideally, I would go for the hp studio with dreamcolor, but that's a dream right now.

So, it seems that there is noone to speak for the 7510? Isn't there anyone satisfied with their 7510?

I placed a reorder on the 7510 this past Friday and called this morning to cancel because of the posts I found last night about the constant fan when using nVidia and the agent assured the there won't be that issue and give it a try. If there is then return it for free.

Well, that's one reason not to get the Lenovo. On the other hand many here have upgraded their M6500-M6800 graphics cards, so that gives hope.

As to the customer satisfaction, I'm happy with mine. And no, to answer a previous comment, I don't use my computer on my bed or lap. Bed is for sleeping and lap is for the wife. So no problem with the vents. Besides who wants hot air blowing at all your peripherals?

Unlike previous models, Optimus will work on all displays in the 7510/7710.
