As I mentioned several times, the 7510 is tough enough to be used as a impact weapon. With this thing on, it can be used as a impact weapon without scuffing the surface.

I just went from the US to the Japan. Did some work on the plane and on the train ride from Osaka to Tokyo then back. Then rode a plane to Singapore where I am now. My 7510 still looks new even after being stuffed inside my Deuter AirContact 50L backpack :)

having said that with the hard case sleeve it may be difficult to fit in into the laptop compartment of a bag though it is easier to find a bag for a 15" as compared to a 17"(7710)

You are right. The sleeve that mentioned is more for if you want to stuff the laptop into a regular bag. Stuffing a 7510 into a laptop bag with the case on might be a challenge.

I guess the best is to use a briefcase type of bag to avoid the scuffing like a Crumpler Harry Hoard which I have but it is a really difficult bag to carry on long journeys due to it's type, size and weight. Can't really strap across the torso like a messenger nor across shoulders like a back pack. 7510 still ok, imagine a 7710

Are you able to buy a NVidea M2200 and stick it into a Precision 7510 and get it to work properly?

Thanks! I am not sure how'd I proceed with Dell support on this as all BIOS logs are clear, Windows Events don't seem have anything meaningful and Dell Diagnostics tool for hardware say's everything is OK. Will try to use hibernation instead (which isn't a great idea with 64GB RAM) and see how it goes.

Having owned this machine for a year and a half now, I can easily say this is the best laptop I've ever owned. I'm still really kicking myself for not getting a touchscreen though, considering the mediocre touchpad. I've looked into manually sourcing and replacing the display assembly with a touchscreen enabled one myself, and while you can buy these, I cannot seem to find the touch-enabled displayport cable anywhere. Only the non-touch cables are available.

Looking forward to what Coffee Lake brings to the precision line. May be high time to remedy my mistake!

Just a heads up for those that care. Dell has a new Bios update,"1.14.4", for the Precision 7510. Ever since the Bios update "1.95" I have had a persistent issue with audio when I have two external monitors hooked up, but finally this update took care of the issue. Now I have audio to all monitors, yeah!!
