    Following the messages above...
Are you using the TB15 without an additional power connector plugged in directly to the laptop by chance? TB15 can only deliver 130W and you need 180W for this laptop or you will get throttling, so the regular AC adapter is required. (It will work with TB15 only, with throttling.)

Yes, I am only the TB15 USB-C Power and had till this stage neglected to use the regular AC Adapter. I wasn't sure it was needed nor whether it was advised to plug in a second. I'll plug them both in and try.

I'm using VMware Workstation rather than Hyper-V. But VMware was not without issues either after upgrading host OS to Windows 1607. All of the bridged network connections quit working in the guests after upgrading the host (red x on the guest virtual network adapters). NAT connections worked fine though. The fix was to drop and reinstall the VM network adapters on the host. Also, shared drives from the Host were no longer seen in the Guest if we upgrade the guest themselves to 1607. Fixing that required dropping and then reinstalling VMware Tools into each guest.

AFAIK, you have to switch off switchable graphics in BIOS to make the Nvidia GPU handle your external video ports. (Experts, please confirm !)
I think the "manual switch" is simply done via Nvidia-prime.

To all : anybody about the "graphic special mode" option in 1.06.06 BIOS ? Thanks.

This may have stopped the CPU throttling but still got a number of issues spread out between Hyper-V (waiting for a patch), Chrome (commonly problematic on Windows 10 apparently) and another problem where at times the machine fails to boot and requires to be turned off by keeping the power button pressed down.

Any one else got the boot up problem ?

Yes, you can turn graphics switching on and off in the BIOS. There's no way to cut the Intel GPU out of the loop without making the change in the BIOS setup.

Graphics switching on --- Intel GPU handles all displays, including external displays and displays attached to a WD15 or TB15 dock --- except displays connected to the DP/DVI ports on an eport dock which are completely handled by the NVIDIA GPU. (Intel GPU can optionally drive one of the DP/DVI ports on the eport dock, there is a separate toggle for this in the BIOS.) NVIDIA GPU can provide rendering support, data is sent to the Intel GPU's frame buffer for display on the screen, so the Intel GPU still handles all of the output to the screen.

Graphics switching off --- NVIDIA GPU handles all displays, Intel GPU is completely off

Anyone else had problems ("Invalid Signature Error") when trying to download the new Intel HD (Version: 20.19.15.4483 ,A04) driver ?

Patch via Windows Update or separate download?

Via Windows Update. The patch was released yesterday and solved the problem that we were having (apparently only presented itself if BitLocker was also turned on). The release notes specify that "improvements" were made to the hypervisor (no further details) so ... if you were having issues before, give it a try after the patch, I guess.

Hmm, didn't get anything related from WU, which KB is it?
My latest is KB3176936 which states fixes for servicing stack. Nothing about hyper-v.
