I couldn't find any info about the new Graphics Special Mode option either. Only these 1.06.06 release notes.

    Fixes & Enhancements
    Fixes:
    - Resolved Intel soft Guard Extension driver install issue.
    - Resolved boot time problem when Hyperthreading is disabled.
    - Resolved Dell Thunderbolt Dock issues.

    Enhancements:
    - Support Win10 Enterprise.
    - Updated TI Power Delivery firmware.
    - Update Realtek USB LAN firmware.
    - Updated Embedded Controller firmware.
    - Update Intel Processor Micro code.
    - Added embedded LAN MAC address display item in BIOS setup menu.
    - Added Attempt legacy boot item in BIOS setup menu.
    - Removed Data wipe support when NVMe SSD attached.
    - Updated suspend/resume protections.
    Version
    Version 01.06.06

The only other notes relating to BIOS options (that I know of) are in the 7510/7710 HTML and PDF downloadable Users Guide. Near the end of the document listed under System Setup describing each BIOS setting. But those are old notes for the original/early BIOS versions and does not mention any of the newer setup options that are in the subsequent releases.

It would be nice if Dell would include with each BIOS release a PDF download describing in detail (as the User Guide does) each BIOS setup option... but keeping it current and up to date for the version released. Else we have to experiment or call dell to find out what that new option is for?

@ft_ how is your system handling the new BIOS version? Any hiccups or surprises that you found during bootup? Everything running smoothly?

I do not experience any issue with 1.06 (W7 and Ubuntu 16.10 beta).
I do not use any dock.

It's crazy that this new option does not receive any help text in BIOS itself.

Yeah, I also like how confident they are with this statement: "Resolved Dell Thunderbolt Dock Issues."

Is it true? THose who have a Thunderbolt Dock with multiple external displays. Please give your feedback if you have this 1.06.06 BIOS installed. Particularly when undocking or redocking while system is still on or while it is asleep. Stuff like that. All those "crazy" scenarios that Dell doesn't seem to test usually.

Haven't used the TB dock yet.

Has anyone been having trouble with their mouse pad? Mine is impossible to use. Keeps jumping and lagging. Didn't happen till I updated to W10. Usually when the computer is under more of a load it gets worse. I read in the Dell community that other people have been having the same problem. Some already go their mouse pads replaced and that seems to have fixed it. And yes my drivers are up to date.

After upgrading to Windows 10 "Anniversary Update" (version 1607) I noticed mouse jumping/lagging under certain conditions. I pinned it down to a background task "SystemSettingsBroker.exe" --- killing this task alleviates the problem for me. It pops back from time to time so I wrote a script to kill it if it is active for more than a minute.

(Not exactly sure what this process does, but it has something to do with bridging the GUI and back-end for setting and viewing system settings... It seems to do its job quickly and then just hang around, so I think killing it is safe and I haven't noticed anything negative as a result, it will just spawn up again if it has something to do.)

Hmmm thanks for the tip. I seem to have a "SystemsEventsBroker" running. Same thing?

There are lots of "Broker" tasks in Windows 10, but the only one I have experienced this issue with is "SystemSettingsBroker".

Ok thanks man. I tried to end it but it wont let me. I'll contact support and see whats up. I'll update you guys after. The only other small problem I'm having is that its reading my bluetooth speaker as a mic causing it not to play. Sometimes it does this and sometimes it doesn't and it gets kinda annoying. Other than that this baby has been taking everything else I throw at it.
