Upgraded recently to Windows 10 Anniversary release which appears to have gone smoothly with no negatives.
Late last week upgraded bios to 1.06.06 version along with the TB3 updates. Getting pretty terrible performance since then. Chrome which is a pretty RAM heavy won't open, Spotify struggles, Hyper-V VM's also refuse to shutdown. Re-flashed the Bios since the Dell Upgrade Tool was then telling me I hadn't upgraded for a short time (Sunday) the problems were done but today they are back.
Any one else getting terrible performance ? Seems to be the case regardless of whether TB3 dock is being used or not.

Use Win10 1607 on my m6800 without problems. Do you see some high CPU process in task manager? Or maybe some CPU throttling? Had a defective power adapter which brought me down to 0,4 ghz - that was sluggish...

I see 100% CPU spikes when trying to start for example Chrome. Otherwise I see the following performance: Capture.PNG
Otherwise I appear to be seeing a continue Turbo Speed of 3.4 GHz

Does the 7510 support charging via usb c port? I mean charging it's own battery like the macbooks.

Yes it charges via USB-C (via TB15).
Edit: This is interesting if not a bit buggy but the problem appears to go away when I unplug USB-C charging / unplug from TB15. Is this a known problem ?

I guess you see CPU throttling as USB-C charging is limited to IIRC 100w. My m6800 throttles on 90 and 130w adapters. Did not test 150 and 180w, so not sure at what point throttling stops. Full speed with the originally shipped 240w adapter.

You could try a tool like ThrottleStop were you can configure the CPU multipliers.

    Hello,
I am fighting with this DELL Precision 7510 also ...
This is ARCH linux, I have now the dual boot with Windows 10 and a nice i3-wm in Arch, but it does only uses the intel driver/adapter.
I don't really care under linux since I am not using extensive GPU activities, however, I would like to use the docking station with 2 external DVI/DPort/HDMi monitors, and today, only one works...
I guess/hope switching to the nvidia adapter should fix this....no ?
What do you call 'manually switching' from intel to nvidia? is this a script? xrandr? rm-moding?
Please, let me know how you did succeed on this issue...
    Thank you,
    Kind regards,
    Ben

Here we are having strange issues with Hyper-V since the anniversary update. Looks like Microsoft is aware and is planning to release a patch tomorrow. Have you tried using the system without Hyper-V?

That's great news. I haven't tried using the system without Hyper-V I guess the issue in my case has also been compounded due to possible throttling due to low than expected charging power. I'll keep an eye for the patch.
