Ye, but samsung newly announced and released 961 drive sounds like the clear winner for all m.2 performance drives. Might have to pre-order it and wait a week or so, but slightly cheaper with more performance, plus 1tb options. If I didn't already have a 950 pro 500gb and sandisk x400 1tb, I'd go no other route

anybody with the fingerprint sensor and windows 10, please? The fingerprint takes 5 seconds to recognize my finger ! I really have to leave my finger 5-6 seconds before windows logs me in. and even if I log off and log back again many times !

Yes, normal here as well. I find that you only have to leave your finger on for about three seconds but it takes around five for Windows to process it. (In other words, you can take your finger off "early" and it will still work.) Still, if you have a reasonably complex passphrase, it takes about the same amount of time to log in but is less work.

Talking of fingerprint the sensor, according to the config page it comes in two different options - Fingerprint Reader and DigitalPersona Fingerprint Reader. What is the difference between them and do they physically look different?

I'm used to seeing "Fingerprint reader" and "FIPS fingerprint reader." Wonder if they renamed the latter?
Anyway, the cheaper one is a slot-type reader where you run your finger over a horizontal slit to scan it. The more expensive one (FIPS) is a gold pad type thing that you rest your finger on for a moment to scan. This is the only one I have actually ever seen/used.

This is normal. The fingerprint reader on my Surface Pro 3 is much faster and works well with Windows Hello. Dell has used a much lower quality and slower fingerprint reader that takes many more seconds to scan then a normal reader. Not a windows issue but a firmware/hardware issue.

My Premier login shows a new memory option
    32GB (4x8GB) 2667MHz DDR4 Memory Non-ECC
at a fairly insignificant price difference.
Any advice on how the higher speed affects performance?

Have any of you encounter issues installing Windows 10 Pro on Samsung 950 Pro M.2 and Dell Precision 7510 recently?
I've seen some bad reviews online (1,2,3) about installing Samsung 950 Pro on 7510 and i'm getting worried.

Could you provide recommendations on what to do or avoid when installing it?

I've been using Samsung 950 Pro running Windows 10 in my 7510 with no issues. I am using AHCI as the SATA mode and the stock Microsoft disk controller driver.
