Funny, because indeed the display I settled on is LG... But the terrible display that came with the system that I set out to replace was also LG.

I just realized something and I might be wrong... if I want the ability swap out my panel in the future, I have to order a screen without the camera or microphone? Because the camera and microphone are attached to the panel and if I install a third party panel, I will have a hole in my bezel where the camera was?

Camera and microphone are not attached to the panel. If you take the plastic bezel off you will see that it is actually separate.

Posted this in the M7710 forum as well.

Price drop on Crucial 2x16 2400 MHZ ECC DDR 4 sodimms at Adorama - $164.99

    http://www.adorama.com/CT2K16TF824A.html

    Crucial Technology 32GB DDR4 2400 MHz SO-DIMM Memory Kit (2x 16GB)
    SKU: CT2K16TF824A MFR: CT2K16G4TFD824A

If the link does not work, go to Adorama and search for the SKU above. These work well in both the m7510 and m7710 with XEON cpus. I tried to put them in a m5510 with a XEON but as others have indicated, it would not boot.

I'm looking to purchase a couple of 7510's at work for engineering workstations. I've seen the Thunderbolt dock TB15 which looks like what I need, but appears to have issues and has been pulled from Dell's website. I still want to go ahead with the purchase, as they are needed now, but the users need larger external monitors. So, how many external FHD monitors can the 7510 drive without a dock? Since there is a mDP, HDMI, and USB-C connectors, I was hoping that 3 monitors could be used. Thanks!

You can use all of the ports that you mentioned simultaneously. Additionally, the WD15 dock is available and it working better than the TB15, you can drive two FHD monitors off of it. Furthermore, you can use the old e-Port docks like PR02X for up to three monitors as well (two DVI/DisplayPort and one VGA).

Thanks for the info. Can the WD15 be used for the two FHD montiors, plus one from the laptop directly (like HDMI, or mDP)?

This "should" work but I have not tried it. The Intel GPUs can only drive a maximum of 3 displays, I think, so if graphics switching / Optimus is enabled in the BIOS, you will not be able to use the built-in laptop display while three external displays are hooked up.
